Maintenance, Leasing, Management Professional

Overview


In search of experienced Maintenance, Leasing and Management Professional for an established and growing family owned property management company. Organization currently manages apartment units, town houses, and single family homes in Iowa and Illinois.


Qualified applicants would be required to perform routine and preventative maintenance, guide potential tenants on property tours, coordinate repairs and maintenance requests, prioritize unit move in and move outs, and assist management with other tenant and maintenance related activities.

Job Requirements:

  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
  • Must have basic tools
  • Must have a cell phone
  • Must be able to bend, twist, squat, lift 50 pounds, and be on feet entire shift
  • Must be proficient in basic computer operations. Internet, email, internet based form completion
  • Committed to normal working hours and a set schedule
  • Participation in nights and weekend on-call rotation


Job Responsibilities:

  • General maintenance and repair of plumbing, electrical, heating systems, cooling systems, drywall repairs, general property maintenance
  • Preform guided tours of apartments and common areas for potential tenants
  • Maintain friendly, courteous relations with current and potential tenants, company employees, and outside contractors
  • Responsible for receiving, entering scheduling, notifying tenants of work orders, maintenance requests and showings
  • Document and electronically submit material needs for repairs, renovations and move outs
  • Collecting rents/entering data into software
  • Tenant lead follow up via phone calls, texting, and email
  • Ability to review and schedule activities related to both unit leasing and repair scheduling
  • Proactively plan turnover of renovated units, early move outs, partial rents, month to month rents, etc
  • Conduct and coordinate move out and move in activities
  • Assist with tenant communications
  • General clean up and trash removal
  • Complete other reasonable property and tenant related tasks that management or ownership requires


Salary:

  • $18.00 - $35.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
  • Year End Bonus
  • Performance Bonus as Appropriate

  • 8 Hour Shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Emergency On Call with Rotation
